Churches

Leetonia was once known as the town that had as many churches as it did beer joints.  Many of the beer serving establishments have since closed but the churches remain alive and active.  Coming into town from the east, you are greeted by the Leetonia Mennonite Church.  They began an expansion construction in 2000 and hope to have the new unit completed in 2001.  The Leetonia Lutheran Church.  In the center of town is the Leetonia Catholic Church.  And finally, on the hill was the Leetonia Presbyterian Church.  It closed it's doors in 1999.  The church was sold to ......
