The Leetonia Volunteer Fire Department is one of the leading first responders in the area.  I wanted to include them in my Hometown Page because my father-in-law served on the department for 50 years until his death in 1995.  My husband, Gary, has been a member for over 30 years.  The torch has been passed from one generation to another.  When our children were young, we, along with other firemen's families, would ride on the old "Peter Perch" at festival parades held in the surrounding area.  Now we take the grandchildren.
