FREEDOM SURVIVED

OFFICIAL DEBUT

November 17, 2001

On November 17, 2001, the Steele's officially presented the Leetonia Fire Department and the East Palestine Fire Department with a  premiere "Freedom Survived" plaques.  Both departments will each have limited edition plaques available from their members.  The plaques are inscribed on the back with LFD (Leetonia Fire Department) or EPFD (East Palestine Fire Department) with the casting number and each limited to 2001 pieces.

These two departments were selected because the Steele's are lifelong residents of Leetonia and Mr. Steele is a 30 year veteran of the Leetonia Fire Department, and the plaque is being produced in East Palestine.  In addition to the casting number, the limited editions plaques will be personally painted by the artist.

Fire Departments from the Mahoning Valley, which includes Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana Counties will also have the plaque available from members of local fire departments beginning in late December.

Soon we will offer a contact page of the local Fire Departments where you can order your plaque.
