Grand Marshals, Paul Iannizzotto and Bob Salesen, New York Firefighters

Two of New York's finest, Paul Iannizzotto, Office of the Fire Commissioner and Bob Salvesen, Ladder Company 159, served as Grand Marshals of the Red, White & Blue Parade held in Boardman, Ohio on November 10, 2001.  Over 3000 participated in the parade which ran over two and a half hours.

On. Sept. 11, Iannizzotto led a group of people, including a deputy fire commissioner, out of the wreckage of a World Trade Center tower after it collapsed.

The two men were grand marshals for Saturday patriotic parade "The Valley's Tribute to American Heroes: A Red, White and Blue Parade." Saturday's event in Boardman was presented by The Vindicator and WFMJ-TV 21 and sponsored by K-105, Y-103, Hot 101 and The DeBartolo Corp.
